Our Name
The word Paladius means "to have the qualities of Palas” — to be like Athena.
Our brand draws inspiration from the patron and protector of heroes, Palas Athena—the Greek goddess of wisdom, strategy, and courage. As suppliers to the first responder community, we provide the tools they need for their everyday missions. These heroes can trust that our equipment will arm them with the strength and courage they need to save lives.
The Owl
Throughout history, the owl has been considered a symbol of wisdom and protection. It's no wonder why the Greeks associated Owls with the goddess Athena herself. Prior to a mission, the heroes of Ancient Greece considered an encounter with an owl to be good luck. It symbolized Athena's protection, wisdom and guidance.
In this same way, the Paladius logo represents a beacon of protection and guidance for the first responder community.
